Desire is castigation...
The world as I see it has definitely evolved into something that feeds on human desire.
It can well be explained as a mechanism that will always contradict human desire thus trying to demean us to the maximum extent possible.
Then why do we desire?? Why do we go for accomplishing something we know is not possible?? Is it for that ephermal bout of eutopia caused by a mere whimsical consideration of possible prospect in the future?
Yes it inevitably is.. The illusion of success that one creates by the conception of some sort of random enterprise is exactly the kind of illusion this world wants us to create.
So what if we curb desire?
Would there be any reason left for one to continue his existence in this world devoid of desire or should I say devoid of purpose... If we don't exist neither does desire as it is something that we have given birth to. The purpose of life is to perpetuate one's existence.
Well life is an onerous affair owing to desire. But at the same time desire is what keeps us alive.... Now isn't that unfair?
We are surrounded by a plethora of implacable desires that perpetually feed on our sanity. And there is no escaping it.... or is there??? So the world is nothing but a prison and we are all prisoners. Then why can't we break out?
We can.
But there's just one little problem.... Where do we go once we are out....?
